Watt Hz? returns to Liverpool's industrial docklands showcasing some of the most relevant names in European techno. Following the success of the last event, Watt Hz? hosts three more Liverpool debuts, continuing to push a new style of techno in the city.
-- Shlømo --
Shlømo is at the forefront of France’s thriving underground techno scene. The Concrete (Paris) resident and Taapion label co-founder has cemented a favoured reputation among the greats of contemporary dance music, crafting a rich tapestry of mesmeric and driving techno, from remixes of Oscar Mulero to outstanding releases on labels such as ARTS and Soma.
From Berghain to BASSIANI, Shlømo resonates euphoric atmospheres, balancing real feeling with all important dance-floor function. We’re incredibly pleased to include Watt Hz? as a stop on the Parisian’s European tour for his forethcoming album, Mercurial Skin.
-- VSK --
Francesco Visconti, aka VSK, has forged a thunderous and voltaic path into the electronic underworld. The Berlin-based Italian has refined his unique sound in years hardware experimentation and exploration into cinematic audio. VSK has exploded into the catalogues of seminal labels such like Tommy Four Seven’s 47 imprint, Perc Trax and EarToGround and collaborating with Conrad Van Orton (as Symmetrical Behaviour) to form CRS Ltd.
Expect earth shattering sub bass and abrasive textures.
-- Tapefeed --
Italian bred, broken-beat bad boiz from London, Tapefeed, hold down a residency at Superstition in the Village Underground. An integral part of the capital’s vibrant techno happenings and frequently seen in the darker corners of Berlin, the duo have consistently destroyed dance floors across Europe and America with their distinct apocalyptic sounds. Superstition is currently a centre point of UK Techno, recently premiering All Night Long sets from Dax J and Blawan, and label showcases like Token and Perc Trax.
